Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations who’s excited to make an impact. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. You will design robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS serverless workflows (including Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions) to seamlessly sync data with external accounting platforms. Additionally, you will diagnose and resolve complex system issues, mentor junior engineers, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to ensure maximum accuracy, performance, and reliability across our integrations.

On the Accounting Integrations team, you’ll have the opportunity to architect and scale mission-critical integrations that seamlessly bridge our platform with external financial ecosystems. You will take full ownership of high-volume, event-driven serverless systems, leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate innovation, and mentor fellow engineers while tackling complex engineering challenges that directly impact the daily operations of thousands of commercial contractors.

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable codebase for complex accounting integrations and other products as necessary.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve critical issues, implementing preventative measures to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
