• Optimize System Performance: Oversee the deep-dive analysis of performance bottlenecks within the Linux storage and networking stack, identifying optimization opportunities that result in tangible gains in throughput and latency for our users.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep System-Level Performance Expertise: Proven experience in designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise-grade solutions, including servers, storage (SAN protocols like iSCSI, NFS, SMB), and databases.

• Strong Linux Systems Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with Linux systems, including in-depth knowledge of the network configuration, storage stack, system settings, and common command-line utilities crucial for performance tuning.

• Technical Ownership and Mentoring: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide architectural direction to software and performance engineers, elevating the technical quality and impact of the entire team.

• Problem-Solving and Analysis: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of translating complex performance data into actionable engineering improvements that lead to high-quality product releases.
