Your Role
We're hiring a Senior Systems Analyst to help us manage and scale Hudl's cloud infrastructure costs and governance practices. You'll embed within our Platform Engineering team and lead our FinOps practice, owning cost reporting, tooling, and optimization work that directly impacts how we build and run software at scale.
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you'll:
- Own FinOps strategy and execution. You'll drive cloud cost transparency, optimization, and governance across Hudl's AWS infrastructure — from setting up tooling and reporting to building a culture of cost accountability with our engineering teams.
- Build and maintain cost dashboards. You'll design and own FinOps dashboards that surface actionable insights for engineering leadership, making it easy to understand spend trends and identify optimization opportunities.
- Partner with engineering. You'll work side-by-side with platform and application engineers to identify and implement right-sizing, reserved instance strategies, commitment-based savings plans, and architectural improvements.
- Improve our tooling ecosystem. You'll evaluate and manage cloud cost tools (like CloudZero) and build internal automation to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Location
Time spent collaborating with other Hudlies in-office will be a regular part of how you work. We're currently prioritizing applicants within commuting distance of Lincoln. You'll be expected to work more days in-office than remote, but will have the freedom to coordinate your specific in-office schedule with your team.
