About NexHealth

Our healthcare system remains frustratingly analog. When you live in a world of one-tap car rides, instant meal delivery, and unlimited streaming, why do you still have to call to schedule a doctor’s appointment and fill out a clipboard in the waiting room?

NexHealth’s mission is to accelerate innovation in healthcare by connecting patients, providers, and developers. We’re building the infrastructure layer for modern healthcare, connecting thousands of fragmented, on-premise, and closed EHR systems into a single, modern platform that powers software, APIs, payments, and patient experiences across the ecosystem.

• Founded: 2017
• Headquarters: San Francisco, CA
• Funding: $177M Series C
• Employees: 200+
• Trusted by tens of thousands of providers and hundreds of health-tech developers — forging the infrastructure layer that modern healthcare needs

About the Role

Design the face of the best products in healthcare—period. As a Creative Designer, you will shape how NexHealth looks, feels, and communicates across all channels (internal and external). From our website to product launches, sales decks, and brand campaigns, you’ll translate complex healthcare infrastructure into clear, beautiful, and human design.

You won’t be boxed into a single channel—your work will span web, brand, product marketing, print, and campaign design based on the highest priority opportunities in the company. We believe great design makes a great product inevitable: it earns trust, sharpens the message, and compounds long-term brand value.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end creative across brand, web, product marketing, and campaign design on any surface area (website, launches, decks, social, events).
• Evolve NexHealth’s visual identity and design system to scale across channels and customer segments (front desk staff, providers, developers, and patients).
• Translate product and company narratives into compelling visual storytelling across campaigns, content, web, sales collateral, video, events, and customer-facing materials
• Partner with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Leadership, and Sales to bring new products and features to market with crisp, compelling creative.
• Build and elevate customer-facing assets—landing pages, decks, one-pagers, demos, case studies, and launch content—that move the market.
• Manage multiple projects in tight, fast cycles—shipping high-quality work at speed.
• Establish and maintain a high bar for creative quality, consistency, and clarity
• Build ideas that can scale from larger brand and campaign efforts into smaller day-to-day executions

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of creative or visual design experience, including web design and brand work
• A strong portfolio demonstrating brand, web, and marketing design across digital and print
• Depth in visual identity, brand systems, positioning, and creative direction — you can turn complex ideas into a memorable, premium brand experience
• Experience developing performance marketing creative, with comfort designing testable formats
• Deep ownership mentality: you act like a founder, not an order-taker, and bias toward clarity, speed, and simplicity over process and polish
• Taste — you have a sharp eye for what looks and feels right, and consistently make design decisions that elevate the brand
• Clarity — you turn complex ideas into design that is intuitive, confident, and easy to understand
• Momentum — you move fast, ship thoughtfully, and keep work progressing without sacrificing quality, even with shifting priorities and multiple active projects
• Experience designing for SaaS and technical or healthcare products is a plus

Bonus Points For

• If you believe a great product deserves great design—and that design drives growth.
• If you’ve built and shipped real work at scale, not just polished mockups.
• If you care about outcomes and adoption, not awards.
• If you move faster with less structure—and create your own clarity.
• If you want to help shape the future of healthcare infrastructure.

• Solve the customer’s problems, not yoursWhen making decisions, think from the perspective of the customer. It’s easy to make decisions that make our lives simpler, but not the customers.
• Do the things others are not willing to doAs a Nexer, always go after the hardest problems. Pursue things at the highest quality. Move at the fastest pace.
• **Take ownership
**Act like a founder. Own your roles, destinies, mistakes, behavior, and our mission. The buck stops with each of us - no blaming or excuses.
• **Say what’s on your mind, with positive intent
**Be direct, proactive, transparent, and frequent in your communication.
• **Default trust
**As a Nexer, you do not have to earn trust, trust is given to you by default. If we by default trust each other, our speed of communication, feedback, information sharing, and overall improvements will be a lot faster.
• **Think in first principles
**We first identify the problem and then break it down to its fundamentals before diving into solutions. We constantly ask “why” to validate our assumptions.
