Position Overview
Nscale's North American Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) group is delivering large-scale, high-density data center campuses on fast timelines. Within the Project Controls group, planning turns the master schedule into clear, near-term plans the field can execute.
The Planner supports the Project Controls team on assigned DCI projects by maintaining detailed work plans, short-interval look-aheads, and progress tracking. Working closely with site teams, contractors, and the Project Controls – Scheduling lead, this role keeps day-to-day planning accurate and aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Look-ahead planning: Prepare and maintain 2-, 3-, and 6-week look-ahead schedules with site teams and contractors, aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Progress tracking: Collect, validate, and record progress data from the field, including walkdowns, quantities installed, and milestone completion.
- Schedule support: Support the Scheduling lead with schedule updates, activity detail, logic checks, and coding in Primavera P6.
- Constraint management: Track constraints such as permits, materials, equipment deliveries, access, and design information, and help clear them before they affect work.
- Coordination: Attend and support coordination meetings with contractors and trades; record actions and follow up on commitments.
- Commissioning and handover: Help plan and track commissioning activities, system turnovers, and punch list close-out.
- Reporting: Prepare progress charts, milestone trackers, and inputs to weekly and monthly project reports.
- Data quality: Maintain accurate planning records and documentation in line with DCI project controls standards.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–6 years of planning or scheduling experience on construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.

- Proficiency in Excel and clear written and verbal communication.
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred
- Data center, power, or MEP construction experience.
- Exposure to Last Planner System or lean construction methods.
