Account Executive

Who we are

At OpenUp, our mission is to make mental well-being accessible to everyone. Following a 'high tech & high touch' approach, we support companies, their employees, and their families with proactive and practical mental health services. Through our digital platform, clients can access 1:1 check-ins, online courses, articles, videos, group sessions, mindfulness practices, and a team of committed mental well-being experts. As we believe that mental and physical well-being are deeply connected, we have also added Lifestyle Experts to our offering, focusing on nutrition, exercise, and sleep. We offer a truly holistic approach that helps people take ownership of their health. We're proud to work with forward-thinking organizations and are committed to raising the bar on accessible care.

OpenUp was ranked in the Top 3 on LinkedIn's Top Startups list for 2023, 2024 & 2025 and is continuously growing. We are already serving 2000+ companies (e.g. Rituals, Deloitte, Decathlon, KPMG, and McDonald's), through which 600K+ employees have access to our product.

Now, we're setting our sights on Belgium and we're looking for the person who will help us build it.

Your job

This is a founding role. As our Founding Account Executive for BNLX, you will be selling and shaping how OpenUp shows up in the Belgian market. You'll own the medium enterprise segment end to end and play a defining role in our expansion in the region.

You are responsible for the sales process from A to Z: exploring the market, building pipeline, planning and running sales conversations, and negotiating contracts to close. Because you're early, you'll have real influence over strategy, positioning, and how we win, and you'll work closely with our Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership teams to make it happen.

You won't be doing this alone. You'll be part of our European sales team, and you can count on their full support and close collaboration as you build Belgium from the ground up. Next to that:

• You put OpenUp on the map in Belgium and build our network of B2B partnerships from the ground up.
• You acquire new medium enterprise clients and create opportunities within existing accounts.
• You are the face and first point of contact for customers in your market.
• You bring the voice of the Belgian market back to the team, helping us adapt and grow smartly.

About you

OpenUp loves people. We hope you do too. Engaging with people from all walks of life is something you genuinely enjoy. You thrive in a team, communicate effectively at every level, and you're excited about mental health — a topic that should be as normal as going to the gym. You'd love to connect to this higher purpose.

Above all, you're entrepreneurial. You see the blank canvas of a new market as an opportunity, not a risk. You're a self-starter who takes ownership, learns fast, gets back up after setbacks — and celebrates the wins. A courageous mission needs great people. Ready to build with us?

• You're from Belgium and know the market from the inside. You're based in (or happy to be based in) Belgium(Remote) or Amsterdam(Hybrid).
• Approaching people comes naturally to you. You're a real networker with, or the ability to build, a strong network, ideally within HR.
• You have at least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, HR platforms, or a high-growth startup/scale-up environment.
• Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Salesforce are well-known names to you.
• You have an academic working and thinking level and you are action-oriented.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, build-it-yourself environment and are a great team player.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French and speak great English.

What you get

Joining OpenUp means being part of a fast-growing company doing something meaningful — and getting in early on a market you'll help define. You'll work with an international, high performing team. We like to have fun together with plenty of team-building: weekly 'borrels' and after-work sport classes, the yearly ski trip, and our Padel tournament. It makes our work fun, challenging, and dynamic. On top of that, we offer:

• €1500 annual personal development budget
• ClassPass: OpenUp contributes towards your membership
• Monthly home internet/phone contribution (€50)
• Daily healthy and vegetarian lunch at our office
• Regular office yoga, meditation classes, or breathing exercises
• Flexible work model (hybrid and options for remote work)
• Monthly drinks, a company-wide summer fest, and other fun activities
• 27.5 vacation days per year
• Free and unlimited access for you and your family to all our products, including our psychologists
