Combination Welding Instructor – Future Opportunities
Locations: Newport News
Schedule Options: Full-time & Part-time | Day and Evening Shifts
Compensation: $24 - $28.50 / hour
Licensure Required: AWS Certification (provided by the institution if needed)

Your Role
As a Combination Welding Instructor, you'll play a vital role in preparing students for in-demand welding careers by teaching industry-relevant skills through classroom instruction and hands-on lab training.
Key Responsibilities

Teach welding classes as assigned and create a welcoming, engaging learning environment

Support curriculum development and assist with class planning and materials

Maintain accurate student attendance and academic records

Ensure the classroom and lab are safe, clean, and organized

Track and report grades, evaluations, and other required documentation

Utilize approved student retention techniques to support learning success
