About the Role
AspenView is seeking a Power BI Consultant for a short-term, fully remote engagement supporting a U.S.-based client. This is a hands-on, client-facing role in which you will work directly with business leadership and technical teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements, translate them into effective BI solutions, and deliver high-quality Power BI work end to end.
The strongest candidate pairs deep Power BI and DAX capability with proven experience building dashboards for executive audiences, along with the communication and consulting skills needed to engage senior stakeholders with confidence. This is a defined project engagement of approximately two to three months rather than a permanent position, and depth in Power BI matters more than breadth across the wider Microsoft data platform.
What You Will Do
Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting
- Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business, reporting, and analytics requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
- Provide guidance and best practices around Power BI development and implementation.
Solution Design & Development
- Translate business requirements into scalable Power BI solutions and data models.
- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
