Business Analyst

Its European division, with a strong presence in Poland, manages a fleet of over 23,200 modern tank and freight railcars, providing comprehensive leasing, maintenance, and telematics services across more than 20 countries.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our project team working on complex, distributed systems and large-scale transformation initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding of data structures, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a structured, delivery-focused environment.

You will be:

Key Responsibilities
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Translate business needs into clear User Stories at both high-level and technical levels
• Support backlog management, refinement, and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners and development teams
• Work closely with multiple teams (min. 2 teams) to ensure alignment and consistency across solutions
• Participate in large-scale initiatives such as system migrations and platform transformations
• Analyze and support data models and relational database structures
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to design scalable solutions
• Support testing activities (validation of requirements, UAT support)
• Ensure high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence environments
• Contribute to solution design for web-based and distributed systems

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Understanding of data modeling concepts • Experience working with distributed systems / platform-based architectures • Experience in web-based systems development projects • Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools
