As a full-service engineering, design, and construction services firm, Mi-Tech delivers comprehensive, in-house support for utility, infrastructure and heavy civil projects from planning and design through execution. Our multidisciplinary team provides practical, innovative solutions that emphasize cost efficiency, constructability, and long-term value. Founded in 1985, Mi-Tech has built a reputation for excellence in engineering, design, environmental, laboratory, technical, and field support across the many industries we serve. As a Civil Design Engineer – Geostructural & Temporary Works with Mi-Tech Services, you'll support the design and analysis of temporary and permanent structures associated with utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil construction projects. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll develop practical, constructible engineering solutions for projects involving foundations, retaining walls, earth retention systems, excavation support, and temporary construction structures.
Responsibilities include preparing engineering calculations, developing and reviewing design and shop drawings, evaluating structural loads and soil-structure interaction, and supporting project pursuits through preliminary engineering analyses and design evaluations. You'll collaborate with structural and geotechnical engineers, project managers, and field construction teams to solve technical challenges and support safe, efficient project execution.
