POSITION OVERVIEW
At Technical Assent, a Senior Consultant (Data & Technology) serves as the critical bridge connecting complex data systems, emerging technologies, and strategic human-centered consulting. Functioning multidisciplinary bridging role, this practitioner translates messy, unstructured operational data and technical architectures into clear, repeatable, and decision-ready insights for federal leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead data and technology analysis initiatives, including discovery, requirements gathering, data assessment, solution design, and implementation planning.
- Apply data science, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning methodologies to solve complex client business and operational challenges.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, data models, and data quality controls across multi-source data environments.
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Leverage Python, R, SQL, and related technologies to manipulate, analyze, automate, and transform complex datasets.
- Apply NLP, sentiment analysis, AI, and LLM-enabled workflows to transform unstructured text and qualitative research into structured, actionable insights.
- Conduct data architecture and infrastructure assessments, evaluating data sources, schemas, integrations, governance practices, and technology environments.
- Translate qualitative research, stakeholder feedback, and human-centered design findings into measurable KPIs, performance metrics, and analytical frameworks.
- Lead stakeholder interviews, discovery workshops, and co-design sessions to identify root business problems and inform data-driven solutions.
- Develop data-backed recommendations, executive briefings, strategic roadmaps, and other deliverables that support client decision-making and operational improvement.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams, manage project timelines and deliverable quality, and mentor junior consultants and analysts.
