Clinical Sales Manager

Skilled Wound Care | Clinical Sales Representative – Wound Care

Skilled Wound Care is the nation's leading physician group specializing in wound care services for skilled nursing facilities. For three years running, we have been certified as a Great Place to Work®, with 95% of our team affirming our culture — 39% higher than the national average.

We are looking for a clinically credible, personable, and courageous professional who is ready to make a meaningful impact in the skilled nursing community. If you have a nursing background, a natural ability to connect with people, and the courage to step into new opportunities — we will teach you everything else.

The Role: Clinical Sales Representative

This is a relationship-first role built for nurses who are ready to take their clinical expertise beyond the bedside. You do not need to be a seasoned sales professional. What you do need is a genuine passion for wound care, the confidence to walk into a room and build trust quickly, and the heart to advocate for patients and facilities who need our services most.

We will provide full training and ongoing support to set you up for success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• SNF Partnership Development: Build meaningful relationships with skilled nursing facility administrators, directors of nursing, and regional leaders to introduce and grow Skilled Wound Care's physician-led model
• Clinical Conversations: Use your nursing background to speak confidently about wound care outcomes, treatment protocols, and the clinical and financial value our services bring to SNF partners
• Territory Development: Identify high-potential skilled nursing facilities in your region and thoughtfully prioritize outreach based on clinical need and partnership fit
• Relationship Management: Nurture long-term relationships with SNF partners built on trust, clinical credibility, and consistent follow-through
• Operational Collaboration: Work closely with our physician team to ensure a smooth transition from new partnership to active wound care service
• Performance Goals: Work toward clearly defined goals with the full support of our training and leadership team behind you every step of the way

What We Are Looking For

We are not looking for a traditional salesperson. We are looking for a clinically grounded professional with the heart of a caregiver and the courage to step into a new challenge.

• Clinical Background: Active or former RN, LPN, or wound care nurse with experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings
• Personable Nature: A natural relationship builder who can walk into any room, connect authentically with people, and leave a lasting positive impression
• Courage and Confidence: The willingness to step outside your comfort zone, introduce yourself to new facilities, and advocate boldly for the value of our services
• Wound Care Knowledge: Familiarity with wound assessment, treatment protocols, and the clinical challenges SNF staff face daily
• SNF Familiarity: Understanding of how skilled nursing facilities operate, their pain points, and the pressures their leadership teams face
• Growth Mindset: An eagerness to learn, grow, and develop new skills — we will provide the sales training and tools you need to succeed
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel within your region and out of state 4 to 5 days per week to build and nurture new partnerships
• Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing required; additional business or healthcare management training a plus

We Will Train You

We believe the best clinical sales professionals are not born in a sales office — they are born at the bedside. That is why we invest heavily in training and developing our team. When you join Skilled Wound Care you will receive:

• Comprehensive onboarding and sales training tailored for clinicians
• One-on-one mentorship from experienced clinical sales leaders
• Ongoing education on our wound care model, physician services, and SNF partnerships
• Tools, resources, and scripts to help you navigate every conversation with confidence
• A supportive team culture that celebrates your growth every step of the way

Why Nurses Thrive in This Role

• Your clinical credibility opens doors that traditional sales reps simply cannot
• SNF administrators and directors of nursing trust and respect nurses immediately
• You understand the wound care burden on SNF staff and can speak directly to their daily challenges
• You bring authenticity and compassion to every conversation — and that is what builds lasting partnerships
• Your courage to advocate for patients at the bedside translates directly into advocating for facilities in the field

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 depending on experience
• Bonus Structure: Performance-based quarterly bonuses tied to partnership growth and account activity
• Full Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
• Future Security: Generous 401k plan and life insurance
• Work-Life Balance: Paid time off and a culture that genuinely values and supports its people
