The Team:
Upstart’s Developer Platform team enables engineers to build, test, and validate software quickly, consistently, and with confidence. We own foundational systems and workflows engineers rely on before software reaches production, including build and continuous integration infrastructure, ephemeral environments, shared test infrastructure, and developer tooling.
Our goal is to make the path from code change to deployable software fast, reliable, and self-service. We build platforms that provide trusted feedback early, enable engineers to validate changes in production-like environments, and make common development and testing capabilities easy to adopt across engineering. We partner closely with Delivery, Cloud Platform, Site Reliability Engineering, Security, and product engineering teams to create a cohesive developer experience.
As a Software Engineer II, Developer Platform at Upstart, you will build and operate systems used by engineers across Upstart to develop, test, and prepare software for production. You’ll work across continuous integration infrastructure, Kubernetes-based ephemeral environments, test infrastructure, and developer tooling while independently delivering well-scoped engineering projects and contributing to technical design.
