Technical Project Manager

About Sofico

At SOFICO, we’re shaping the future of mobility - and we’re doing it together. Our software, Miles, is a leading platform that enables companies worldwide to manage their leasing, fleet, and mobility operations in one integrated system. Every day, we help our customers work smarter, more efficiently, and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.

Behind that impact is a close-knit, international team that values collaboration, ownership, and continuous growth. We move forward with ambition but stay grounded in a culture where people support each other and take pride in what they build.

From our office in Madrid, we’re looking for a technical project manager to oversee and manage the technical workstream within implementation projects.

What you’ll do…

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for leading the technical aspects of software implementation projects. You coordinate technical delivery across infrastructure projects, and moving towards Sofico Hosting, acting as the key link between customers, project managers, and engineering teams. Your role ensures technical requirements are translated into effective solutions, projects are delivered on time, and stakeholders remain aligned throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities include :

• Scope, Time & Budget: Follow up on technical scope, timelines, and costs.
• Planning & Prioritization: Organize work across multiple projects and manage dependencies with platform, delivery, testing, production deployments, migration towards Sofico hosting and milestones.
• Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer questions.
• Internal Collaboration: Align closely with internal Project Managers, Architects, Sales, technical teams and other key stakeholders
• Day to day follow up on Infrastructure Operations:  Review, assess, and prioritize infrastructure-related issues in Jira, proactively escalate risks and blockers, and ensure resolutions are validated before issue closure. Work in close partnership with your manager, who retains final approval authority for technical commitments and key decisions.

What you bring…

• Proven experience managing technical projects, including software implementations and hosting migration initiatives. Ideally, this includes experience driving architectural alignment, managing technical scope, and facilitating high-level technical discussions.
• Experience as a Technical Project Manager or Implementation Manager within a product-led organization, promoting standardization, simplification, and scalability while helping customers understand the reasoning behind technical decisions and recommended best practices.
• Strong technical understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and microservices architectures is essential.
• Knowledge of legacy technologies, including application servers and databases, is also highly valued.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Ability to establish, optimize, and mature processes through close collaboration and alignment with your manager, while operating successfully in an organization undergoing transformation.
• Fluency in English.

What’s in it for you...

We would like to welcome you to an international and multicultural company that has been operating for over 30 years and is doubling in size every 5 years. Growth is our middle name, while we strongly adhere to our horizontal and open company culture.

You're in the driver's seat of your own career, that's our motto. Your personal development is therefore paramount. During an extensive onboarding program of six months, we make you, with the support of your job coach, familiar with our product and the organization. Even after this period, you will continue to get opportunities to learn and develop yourself further. You’re never alone.

In return for your efforts, we offer a competitive salary package. We have flexible office hours and opportunities to work from home (2 days/week) and provide the necessary flexibility to maintain a good work-life balance.   Additionally, you work in a modern and easily accessible office in the centre of Madrid.

At Sofico we are strong believers in the power of a good cup of coffee. Water or soft drinks are of course also on the menu. We love our team events. Think after-work drinks, a BBQ, a family day, a company weekend, or a walking dinner with the whole company.
