What You Will Do
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our small but growing team and raise the level of how we acquire, transform, and serve data. You will own our data platform and the pipelines that feed market research and operations. We run on a solid foundation of Snowflake, AWS, Airflow, and Python. - Idempotent, replayable pipelines with tests and alerting
- Warehouse performance and cost
- Set the engineering standards for our data work.
- Architecture and transformation framework, such as dbt
- Conventions for timestamps, naming, typing, late-arriving data
- Backfills, schema evolution, lineage, data quality
- Documentation, code review, CI/CD, mentoring
Who You Are
- BS degree in a technical field
- 5+ years building production data pipelines
- Strong experience with Python and SQL, beyond scripts and notebooks
- Strong Snowflake depth or equivalent: clustering, incremental loading, query profiling, cost control
- Strong experience with Airflow or a comparable orchestrator in production
