Hiring for School Year 2026–27!

At Success Academy, we don't just hire teachers — we build them. You don't need a background in education to launch your career with us. Whether you're a former test-taker who aced the SAT, a math or reading specialist, a tutor, a data analyst, or a recent college grad with a love of strategy and critical thinking — we'll equip you with the tools, training, and world-class coaching to help students conquer the SAT.

Why Success Academy?

More than the highest-performing K-12 charter school network in NYC, Success Academy is a launchpad for careers of significance. Our SAT Prep Teachers don't just teach content — they transform how students think, solve problems, and perform under pressure.

What We Look For

Teaching certification and Master's degrees are not required for this role.

• Resilience, drive, and a winning mindset: SAT prep is high-stakes and fast-paced. You'll coach students through frustration, build their confidence, and celebrate every point gained. You'll be challenged. You'll be coached. You'll grow.
• A commitment to excellence: You know the SAT inside and out — the patterns, the traps, the timing strategies. You execute a proven playbook, plan meticulously, and sweat the details because a single skill gap can cost a student points. Structure and consistency create space for kids to thrive.
• Total belief in every student: You'll never accept "I'm just not a good test-taker." Here, we 100% commit to getting 100% of our kids into 4-year colleges, and strong SAT scores are a critical part of that path.
• Passion for content and a love of the game: You find the SAT genuinely interesting — its logic, its quirks, its predictability once you crack the code. Whether your strength is Reading & Writing or Math, you bring real enthusiasm and a hunger to keep refining your craft. Feedback isn't just accepted — it's fuel.
