Job Summary:
The Senior Conformity Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. This role involves conducting conformity assessments, developing and implementing compliance strategies, and providing technical expertise to cross-functional teams. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and safety, mitigating risks, and ensuring the organization’s products meet all necessary regulatory standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises a team of Conformity Technicians and lead technicians.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conformity Assessment
- Conduct thorough conformity assessments of products and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Evaluate product designs, specifications, and documentation for conformity to relevant standards.
- Review work of Conformity Technicians and Lead Conformity Technicians.
Compliance Strategy Development
- Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure products meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
