Growth Solutions Director

The Trade Desk is a global technology company and the world’s leading independent platform for digital advertising, with over 3,000 employees across more than 30 offices. Our technology helps advertisers reach the right audiences across the open internet — from streaming TV and podcasts to mobile apps, news, and more.

Advertising powers the content people love. By making it more transparent, effective, and responsible, we help support trusted journalism, quality entertainment, and creators worldwide. The world’s brands and agencies rely on us to reach their customers and grow their businesses responsibly.

The scale of our platform brings unique technical challenges — from processing massive datasets in real time to building systems that operate reliably on a global scale. When you work here, your impact is worldwide. We welcome diverse perspectives, encourage curiosity, and build teams that learn from one another. If you’re driven to solve meaningful challenges, we’d love to meet you.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a commercially minded Client Services leader who can bridge customer strategy, technology and Business Development to help unlock and close complex new business opportunities. Embedded within the Growth organisation, you will bring deep Client Services expertise, product knowledge and strategic thinking to our most important new business opportunities across APAC, from early discovery through to close.

You are equally comfortable leading strategic discovery, delivering a compelling platform demonstration, solving a complex customer challenge or sitting alongside a BD in a C-level conversation. This role goes beyond traditional pre-sales — you will help identify and shape opportunities and ensure customers are set up for long-term success before they transition into their long-term home.

As the Growth organisation evolves across APAC, you will also help define what best-in-class pre-sales looks like for the region. We’re looking for someone who wants to build something from the ground up — someone comfortable challenging the status quo, reimagining existing ways of working and using AI and automation to develop repeatable, scalable services that help us move faster and deliver a better customer experience.

What you’ll do

• Partner closely with Growth Business Development on strategic new business opportunities, bringing technical and product expertise throughout discovery, solution design, pitch and close.
• Own technical discovery and solution design, understanding customer objectives, technology stacks, data strategies, measurement requirements and potential barriers to adoption.
• Turn product capability into commercial value, helping prospective customers understand how The Trade Desk can solve their business challenges and deliver better outcomes.
• Deliver compelling platform demonstrations, technical workshops and whiteboarding sessions tailored to customer needs.
• Support pitches, proposals, RFPs and RFIs, owning technical responses and helping develop differentiated solutions that strengthen our commercial proposition.
• Be a product and industry expert for the Growth organisation, with deep knowledge of The Trade Desk platform, product roadmap, competitive positioning and broader adtech and martech ecosystem.
• Bring a strong point of view on AI, data, identity, measurement and omnichannel advertising, helping our teams and customers navigate an evolving industry.
• Identify and remove technical barriers to closing, mobilising expertise across Product, Client Services, Solutions Architecture, Data and other specialist teams.
• Build the foundations for successful onboarding before close, ensuring technical requirements, integrations and success criteria are understood and creating a seamless handover into Client Services.
• Help build scalable pre-sales playbooks and ways of working that make the Growth organisation faster and more effective as we scale across APAC.

What you bring to the table

• 7+ years of experience across adtech, martech, digital advertising, solutions consulting, technical pre-sales or related roles, with deep knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem.
• A growth mindset and natural curiosity, with the confidence to challenge conventional thinking, see beyond how things are done today and help shape what comes next.
• A strong combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen, with experience using technical knowledge to influence and progress complex enterprise sales opportunities.
• Deep understanding of modern advertising technology, potentially including DSPs, first-party data, identity, APIs, measurement, clean rooms and marketing technology integrations.
• Experience partnering with sales or Business Development teams on complex, high-value new business opportunities involving multiple technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Exceptional discovery and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and turn them into compelling commercial narratives.
• Strong executive presence, with the confidence to influence senior marketing, technology, data and commercial stakeholders.
• A consultative, customer-first mindset with a strong understanding of how product and technology can solve commercial challenges.
• Commercial ambition and a desire to develop towards broader sales and Business Development leadership over time.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mindset, initiative and bias for action.
• Highly collaborative, emotionally intelligent and team-first, with the ability to build trust across technical and commercial teams.
• Self-directed and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities across markets while maintaining momentum.
