Product Manager

**Our Mission
**

You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked.

We’re here to give power to the patient.

For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more.

Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting. We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking.

Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started.

**Your Impact on our Mission
**
As a Staff Product Manager for Payments within our Practice Solutions business unit, you will define and build the products that help healthcare practices manage the financial side of patient care.

You will own critical parts of the payments and revenue cycle experience, including how practices understand patient responsibility, collect payments, reconcile transactions, and connect payment activity to claims and remittance data. You will work across complex healthcare workflows involving patients, providers, payors, clearinghouses, and technology partners.

This is a zero to one product leadership role. You will identify unmet customer needs, define the product strategy, and build new capabilities from the ground up. You will need to be equally comfortable setting a long term vision and getting into the details with engineering, design, operations, finance, and go to market teams to bring an early stage product to market and scale it.

You’ll enjoy this role if you are…

• Personally motivated by improving the healthcare system for both patients and providers
• Energized by the complexity of healthcare payments, insurance, claims, and revenue cycle workflows
• A builder who loves taking products from zero to one and turning ambiguous opportunities into real products customers use
• Energized by startup environments where speed, ownership, resourcefulness, and judgment matter
• Comfortable moving between long term strategy, detailed workflow design, technical conversations, customer research, and execution
• The kind of person who can turn a broad opportunity into clear crawl, walk, and run solutions

Your day to day is…

• Driving impact through cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market partners
• Developing a deep understanding of the financial workflows, pain points, and goals of healthcare practices through customer research, data analysis, and close partnership with internal teams
• Defining the long term product vision and strategy for payments within Practice Solutions
• Rolling up your sleeves to drive execution with deep complexity and at scale

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

• 6+ years of product management experience building B2B products

• Meaningful product experience in healthcare insurance, including familiarity with healthcare claims and remittance workflows and the ability to read and interpret 835 and 837 files, is a requirement

• Experience working at a startup or early stage company, with a demonstrated ability to operate with high ownership, speed, ambiguity, and limited resources

• A track record of taking complex products from zero to one, from identifying customer problems and developing strategy through validation, launch, and iteration toward product market fit

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence senior stakeholders

• A data driven mindset and enthusiasm for analytical problem solving, paired with exceptional attention to detail

• An action oriented attitude and roll up your sleeves mentality
