TEAM OVERVIEW

KKR’s Corporate Communications team is responsible for internal and external communications globally, management of KKR’s corporate narrative, and serving as spokespeople for the firm. The team supports the firm with overall messaging, transaction work, portfolio company support, media relations, employee engagement, executive communications, and crafting a variety of related content and thought leadership.

POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is seeking a seasoned financial communications professional to join its Global Communications team with a primary focus on the firm’s insurance platform and broader credit-oriented businesses. Reporting to senior communications leadership, this individual will own the communications strategy for one of the fastest-growing areas of the firm—spanning life, retirement, and reinsurance under the Global Atlantic brand—while also serving as a key contributor to corporate communications priorities across the U.S. market. The ideal candidate brings deep fluency in financial services, insurance and credit markets, established relationships with top-tier financial media, and the judgment to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. This role is based in KKR’s New York office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the development and execution of integrated communications strategies for the firm’s global insurance platform
• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior investment and business leaders, translating complex insurance and credit market dynamics into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences
• Drive proactive and reactive media relations—cultivating relationships with key financial, insurance, and trade journalists; developing messaging; and managing press engagement around transactions, earnings, and strategic milestones
• Lead executive communications efforts including thought leadership, speaking platforms, bylined articles, and high-profile announcements for senior leaders
