About CareTalk Health

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Board-Certified Physicians (MD/DO) to deliver comprehensive virtual care. If you’re licensed in multiple states, and especially if you participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), we’d love to hear from you.
At CareTalk, you bring the clinical expertise. We surround you with scheduling, nursing support, technology, and training, so you can focus on the patient in front of you.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct Annual Wellness Visits and E/M follow-up visits by phone or video
- Manage chronic conditions, review medications, and prescribe where clinically appropriate
- Write orders for indicated screenings and review returned results for the care you initiate
- Close care gaps and build strong rapport with Medicare patients
- Document every encounter accurately in SOAP format
Schedule
- Minimum 16 hours per week. Our clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm ET, and Saturday, 10am to 4pm ET
Required
- Board certified MD or DO
- Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple states
- Medicare participating physician (or willing to become one)
- Experience in preventive and/or primary care
- Proven experience providing patient care in a virtual or telehealth clinic environment
- Comfort conducting both phone and video visits, and EHR fluency
- Strong documentation and patient communication skills
- Strong digital fluency and ability to navigate multiple systems
Strongly preferred
- Participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
