• Monitor, analyze, and interpret state legislative and regulatory developments relevant to data centers, AI infrastructure, energy policy, and economic development across the region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with state lawmakers, staff, and key stakeholders to support CoreWeave’s state-level priorities.
• Conduct policy research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for CoreWeave participation in coalitions, working groups, and advocacy initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (commercial, legal, communications, operations) to ensure consistent messaging and alignment around state government objectives.
• Represent CoreWeave at relevant hearings, industry events, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience in multi-state government affairs, legislative affairs, or a closely related policy role.
• Deep understanding of state legislative and regulatory processes and how they translate to business outcomes.
• Proven track record of building and managing bipartisan relationships with government officials and policymakers.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex policy information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and drive projects to completion.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to execute strategies within a collaborative team structure.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong multi-state government affairs experience.
• Experience in tech, tax policy, energy policy, or infrastructure development.
• Knowledge of AI, cloud computing, or related technology sectors.
• Experience with coalition building or advocacy campaign management.
• Familiarity with the political landscape and key decision-makers in multiple state markets, with particular focus on Texas.
• Track record of generating business results or revenue impact from government affairs work.

Work Environment

• Location: Remote (based in Texas)

• You love building bipartisan relationships and turning a first meeting with a legislator into a lasting partnership.
• You're curious about how data centers can be good neighbors, from paying for the grid upgrades they require and using closed-loop cooling to becoming a lasting source of tax revenue, jobs, and infrastructure that helps a region grow.
• You’re curious about how energy, tax, and infrastructure policy shape where the next generation of AI infrastructure gets built.
• You’re an expert at reading a state political landscape and finding a practical path to shape issues.
