Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) — Home Health | $10K Sign-On Bonus

Full-Time / Per Diem | San Francisco, CA
$58–$68/hour | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Full-time means a full-time paycheck. Our therapists are paid hourly for their scheduled hours, including drive time and documentation. No per-visit pay, no unpaid charting, and a growing patient census that keeps your schedule steady.

At Health Link Home Health & Hospice, we believe great patient care starts with supporting the clinicians who deliver it. For over 20 years, we've served the Bay Area with a focus on clinical quality, strong systems, and a collaborative culture. We're growing our San Francisco team and looking for a PTA who wants meaningful work, modern tools, and a team that's truly there for them.

You'll see patients across SF's neighborhoods, from the Sunset and Richmond to the Mission and beyond, with a territory designed to minimize drive time and keep your day manageable.

Why PTAs Choose Health Link

- Reliable income: Many agencies promise full-time work but only pay per visit, so a light week means a smaller paycheck. At Health Link, full-time staff are paid hourly for their scheduled hours, and our growing census means a steady, consistent caseload.
- Hourly pay that covers your whole day: A long visit, a tough drive across the city, or a complex note never costs you money.
- Earn up to 25% more: On top of your hourly pay, earn daily, per-payroll, and quarterly bonuses based on completed visits and use of our AI-assisted documentation.
- AI-assisted charting: Smart documentation tools on company devices that cut charting time and keep your evenings free.
- Real-time support: Experienced case managers and your supervising PT are available to help with scheduling, patient issues, or clinical questions.
- SF-friendly commute: Mileage reimbursement, a company vehicle (based on availability), or rideshare credits.
- A manageable pace: Organized scheduling, territories designed to minimize drive time, and a team that respects your time.
