Who we are
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.
Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
What you’ll do
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple concurrent construction projects from preconstruction and permitting through closeout. You’ll run some hands-on and lead PMs and APMs through the rest, with full ownership of every outcome. You’ll deliver ahead of schedule and below budget while meeting building codes, plans, and specifications.
- Assess new sites for technical feasibility, infrastructure capacity, and unforeseen costs, and provide early estimates to support site selection.
- Review design sets for constructability and coordination. You’ll catch issues on paper before they reach the field, especially on systems-intensive builds.
- Define the build and procurement strategy for consultants, contractors, and vendors to maximize build quality while minimizing time and cost. This covers prequalification, bid leveling, contract structure, and negotiating replicable terms.
- Manage construction budgets end to end. You’ll track variance, control contingency, process pay applications and change orders, and use value engineering to get the same result for less.
- Own project schedules and critical path across all trades, including long-lead items and owner-furnished equipment. You’ll negotiate recovery plans with contractors when timelines slip.
- Lead consultants, GCs, subcontractors, and vendors on site, maintaining a safe, organized job site and coordinating inspections, installations, utility connections, and punch lists. You’ll also be the company’s point of contact with building management and local authorities.
