Head Of Finance

Evident | Nimbyx Group of Companies • BGC, Taguig | Fully Onsite

About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Finance to lead our Philippine finance operations and ensure our accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance are accurate, efficient, and well-managed.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll oversee the local finance team, take ownership of our Philippine financial operations, and work closely with our Canada Finance team and Manila leadership.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage financial processes but knows how to improve them.

What You'll Do

• Accounting & Reporting: Own month-end closing, financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger accuracy.

• Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely BIR, SEC, and other government filings, including statutory audits and payroll-related remittances.

• Cash Flow & Budgeting: Manage cash flow, banking, payables, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Internal Controls: Establish and improve financial processes, approval controls, and compliance procedures.

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Manila finance team, ensuring accountability and consistent performance.

• Global Collaboration: Coordinate with Canada Finance on intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and group accounting standards.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed CPA in the Philippines (required).

• At least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, statutory compliance, and IFRS.

• Hands-on experience managing month-end closing and financial reporting.

• Experience with intercompany accounting and reporting to an international or foreign parent company.

• Strong Excel, analytical, and financial management skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior leadership.

• Willing to work fully onsite in BGC, Taguig, with some working-hour overlap with Canada.

What Will Make You Successful

You take ownership of financial accuracy and compliance, identify problems before they escalate, and continuously look for ways to improve processes.

You can lead a team while staying close enough to the details to know when something isn't right.

If you can own the numbers, strengthen the controls, and turn financial information into better business decisions, we'd like to hear from you.
