This position will lead self-perform crews and subcontractors, coordinate project resources and schedules, perform survey and layout work, operate heavy equipment as needed, and ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, on schedule, and within budget.

Lead daily tailgate safety meetings and reinforce a strong culture of safety, accountability, and quality across project sites
Manage multiple phases of construction simultaneously, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and to quality expectations

Maintain accurate daily reports, progress photos, redlines, as-built information, and other required field documentation
Establish, verify, and maintain project control points and perform construction layout for building pads, curb lines, utilities, structures, offsets, cut/fill, and grade stakes
Operate survey and layout equipment including builders levels, GPS rovers, robotic total stations, and related field technology
Load and verify machine-control models and utilize GPS machine-control technology to support accurate excavation and grading activities
Check subgrade, aggregate base, and finish-grade elevations and ensure proper slopes, drainage, and project tolerances
Lead and perform excavation, site preparation, trenching, mass grading, and finish-grading activities
Operate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, rollers, and other equipment as needed to support project execution
Coordinate and oversee installation of storm, sanitary, and water utilities, including verification of line and grade, bedding, inverts, structures, and tie-ins
Perform and oversee concrete layout and preparation, including setting pins and stringlines, checking forms and rebar, and supporting concrete placement, finishing, jointing, and curing
Coordinate proof-rolls, fine grading, base preparation, drainage, and final site preparation prior to asphalt or concrete paving
