Account Executive

About the Team

The Solutions & Growth team is helping build the next chapter of DCS. We partner with new and existing clients to solve complex distribution and fulfillment challenges through thoughtful engineering, automation, software, and long-term relationships.  DCS is investing significantly in its Distribution & Fulfillment business, and the people joining this team will have a meaningful opportunity to shape how we grow, how we go to market, and how we serve customers as the business scales.

About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll build strategic customer relationships that create meaningful, long-term growth for both our clients and DCS. There’s significant opportunity to grow within the Distribution & Fulfillment market. We’re looking for someone who understands material handling and automation, knows how to develop relationships and uncover opportunities, and can help customers navigate complex decisions from early conversations through implementation and beyond.

Our approach is consultative and highly collaborative. You’ll partner closely with Solutions, Operations, and Pre-Contract teams to understand customer needs, shape the right solution, and pursue opportunities where we believe DCS can deliver real value and win. You’ll stay connected throughout the customer journey, serving as a trusted partner while bringing the right people across DCS together to deliver on what we promise.

In This Role, You Will

• Build and grow a portfolio of strategic Distribution & Fulfillment accounts across industries such as retail, apparel, footwear, consumer goods, industrial, and other emerging markets.
• Identify and develop new opportunities through your network, targeted prospecting, industry knowledge, and partnership with DCS business development and marketing teams.
• Create account and territory strategies that turn relationships and market intelligence into a healthy, sustainable pipeline.
• Lead complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through solution development, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and long-term account growth.
• Partner closely with Solutions, Operations, Consulting, and Pre-Contract teams to ensure DCS is pursuing the right opportunities and delivering solutions that work for both the customer and the business.
• Build trusted relationships with senior and executive-level customer stakeholders and serve as an ongoing executive sponsor for key accounts.
• Own commercial conversations including MSAs, LOIs, SOWs, support agreements, pricing strategy, forecasting, and deal progression.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information and provide clear visibility into account strategy, opportunities, risks, and next steps.
• Help shape how DCS goes to market by contributing to sales processes, account strategy, collateral, partnerships, and broader growth initiatives.
• Represent DCS in the market through customer relationships, industry events, professional networks, and other opportunities to strengthen our brand and credibility.

We’re Excited About You Because You

• Bring 5-10+ years of successful sales experience in material handling, warehouse automation, systems integration, operations consulting, or a related industry.
• Demonstrate a track record of identifying, developing, and closing large, complex enterprise opportunities.
• Know how to sell an integrated solution, not simply a product, and connect the value of engineering, consulting, software, automation, and implementation services.
• Navigate long, complex capital sales cycles while building relationships well before a formal RFP begins.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline that translates into meaningful annual bookings and revenue.
• Leverage an established industry network while continuing to develop new relationships and opportunities.
• Build credibility with customer executives while partnering effectively with engineering, Solutions, Operations, and delivery teams.
• Bring a self-starter mindset; building a plan, creating momentum, and taking ownership of results.
• Balance commercial drive with a collaborative, humble approach that fits a team-based sales environment.
• Look beyond the individual sale, contributing to how we grow the business, strengthen our sales approach, and build the future of DCS.

Why DCS

DCS is at an exciting point in its Distribution & Fulfillment growth journey. The foundation is in place; strong engineering and delivery capabilities, an expanding software suite, established customer relationships, and significant leadership investment in the business.

For the right Senior Account Executive, that creates meaningful whitespace. You’ll have the ability to help shape your territory and account strategy, work across a broad set of technologies and solutions, and have an outsized impact on a business that is positioned for significant growth.

If you’re looking for an opportunity where you can hunt, build, influence, and grow, not simply inherit a number, we’d like to talk.
