We centralize organizational expertise so our campus professionals can focus on student engagement and building meaningful community connections. About the Role
We're seeking an experienced clinician who is both an exceptional therapist and experienced in running a successful clinical practice. This person will help establish and grow Hillel Ontario's counselling service by building trusted relationships, developing referral networks, and creating a sustainable, student-centred therapy practice. The Therapist will provide counseling and therapy to clients in individual and group interventions for University students. In addition, the Therapist will develop and deliver mental health education, workshops, and training for staff and students as needed. The role also connects students with appropriate campus and community resources, ensuring they receive integrated, holistic support tailored to their individual needs.
This is a hybrid position, combining virtual clinical work with periodic travel to Hillel Ontario campuses throughout the academic year. Campus visits are an important part of the role, providing opportunities to build relationships with students and staff, increase visibility and accessibility, deliver programming, and strengthen partnerships across the Hillel Ontario network.
Position type and expected hours of work
This is a full-time Hybrid position with flexible work hours, equivalent to 4-5 full days per week. The majority of work will be conducted during regular business hours, with flexibility required to meet student and organizational needs. Travel to Hillel Ontario campuses across the province is required on an occasional basis.
