The Role

At Datavant, we value Engineers who solve problems, build impactful products, and deeply understand the principles and practices of software engineering. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in growing our healthcare data ecosystem and delivering innovative solutions that help connect and activate health data across the industry.

We care more about strong engineering fundamentals, product thinking, and the ability to learn than experience with any specific technology. You'll work across the stack, contributing to everything from intuitive user experiences to scalable backend systems and data platforms. You'll also help shape technical direction, mentor teammates, and influence how we build.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that power Datavant's healthcare data ecosystem
• Deliver exceptional user experiences by partnering closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers
• Develop scalable frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data-driven solutions that support millions of healthcare records and transactions
• Guide technical design decisions and help establish architecture patterns that enable long-term scalability and maintainability
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning
• Own substantial projects end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing operation
• Drive innovation and deliver valuable solutions that improve outcomes for healthcare organizations and patients
• Share your expertise with the engineering community through technical discussions, mentorship, and contributions to our engineering blog
