Supply Chain Specialist

We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!

About the role

Grüns is scaling fast, and our supply chain has to move faster than the demand. As our Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be the execution engine behind it: owning purchase orders from creation to receipt, keeping inventory and inbound data airtight, and catching risk before it ever reaches a customer. You'll work side by side with our Director of Supply Chain and directly with our suppliers, co-manufacturers, and 3PLs. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role, and the work you do will protect product availability as we grow.

This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a biannual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.

In this role, you will:

• Own day-to-day purchase order execution, moving every PO through production, shipment, receipt, and exception resolution without dropped follow-up
• Run the operating cadence with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and 3PLs, so every confirmation, delay, decision, and committed date has one clear owner: you
• Maintain the source of truth for available, inbound, and at-risk inventory, so the team always knows what we have, what's coming, and what's in trouble
• Spot shortages, production delays, material constraints, freight risk, and inventory imbalances early, and escalate with a recommended action, not just a flag
• Build Claude-powered workflows that turn raw PO, inventory, production, and freight data into exception lists, supplier communications, meeting recaps, and decision-ready summaries
• Standardize reporting, documentation, and recurring workflows (and write the SOPs) so the team can handle higher volume with fewer manual errors

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 1-3 years in supply chain, operations, procurement, production planning, logistics, or inventory management, working close to the physical flow of product rather than only reporting on it
• Has worked in or around a fast-paced CPG, food/beverage, supplements, wellness, beauty, or other physical-product business (strongly preferred)
• Has coordinated directly with external suppliers, manufacturers, or logistics partners, whether in a full-time role or internship, and held them to deadlines across multiple workstreams at once
• Has hands-on experience with an ERP, inventory, or order management system (NetSuite-style) and can pull and organize clean source data without help
• Uses Claude or other AI tools daily for real operational work: writes strong prompts, builds reusable workflows, and validates outputs against source data before acting on them
• Can point to real examples of catching a problem early and driving it to resolution

Approach to the role:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, without losing sight of what matters most to the business
• Proactive: follows up before the deadline, not after something is already late
• Comfortable in ambiguity, and builds structure where processes are still taking shape
• Takes extreme ownership: closes loops and communicates risk early
• Collaborative and low-ego, while still holding internal teams and external partners accountable
• Treats AI as a force multiplier on the work, never a substitute for judgment

Compensation & Benefits:

At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package—grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is between $80,000 – $90,000 plus bonus depending on experience.

A bit about us...

At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.

Like you, we were disappointed. There’s an infinite number of “nutrition” companies, all focused on what’s best for them — not what’s best for you. Hundreds of products to sell you on, low-quality ingredients, and small nutrient doses. We’ve seen it all.

So we decided it was time to fix it. No more choking on and popping pills like a pharmacy. No more clean-up and disgust from gross powders. And no more cobbling together handfuls to dozens of supplements. Grüns is comprehensive nutrition, made convenient and delicious.

What we care about...

Be the Best: We hold ourselves, our teams, and our partners to an incredibly high standard - and we raise the bar constantly. "We've never done this before" isn't an excuse here. It's an invitation.

Own It: We act like our name is on the door. That means taking complete ownership of outcomes, collaborating deeply, working through roadblocks - not around them - and never waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Great owners are great partners.

Drive Impact, Urgently: We measure impact, not effort. We work smart and hard, move fast, and use every tool at our disposal - including AI - to focus our energy where it matters most.

Compensation & Perks:

For every role, we aim to have highly competitive compensation and opportunity for impact and career growth.

Everyone at Grüns works hard, but we believe in wellness and balance too. We have super strong benefits coverage -- for you and your family, generous PTO, free Grüns, and a few more perks centered around health and well-being that we can't wait to tell you about!
