Externships: Heart + Paw offers externship opportunities at many of our 28 (and counting) locations and can customize your externship to your interests, skills that you would like to develop, and geographic preferences. We offer 1 to 3-week hands-on externships that can extend beyond that if you desire. We will work with you to determine your learning objectives and preferences, creating a meaningful learning experience.

Summer Jobs: Build your resume with our hands-on, 4- to 6-week summer job opportunities. You will work on the floor as a veterinary assistant part-time or full-time during your summer break.
