itD is seeking a Project Manager I to own and drive UX Research vendor engagements from intake through contract execution and invoicing. This role will serve as the central point of coordination between UX researchers, vendors, contract teams, approvers, and leadership, ensuring projects maintain momentum, blockers are resolved quickly, and stakeholders have clear visibility into status and next steps. The ideal candidate will bring strong project or program management, vendor/procurement coordination, and operational execution experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-volume workstreams independently in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Remote – U.S. (CST and PST time zones required)
Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension or conversion
Please note that we are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of UX Research vendor engagements end to end, from initial intake through SOW creation, contract execution, purchase order issuance, and invoicing.
- Coordinate across UX researchers, vendors, contract teams, approvers, and leadership to keep engagements moving and ensure everyone understands required actions and deadlines.
- Drive daily momentum across multiple active cases, creating urgency when next steps depend on other teams or external partners.
- Monitor project status, proactively identify risks and blockers, and escalate issues while developing and following through on paths to resolution.
- Communicate project status, progress, risks, and blockers to managers and stakeholders through clear, proactive written updates.
- Maintain accurate KPI and SLA tracking, project documentation, vendor resources, process materials, and centralized sources of information.
- Identify recurring friction within the intake-to-contract process and recommend or manage process improvements that increase efficiency and throughput.
- Provide guidance on vendor engagement and procurement compliance policies, serving as a trusted subject matter resource for UX Research stakeholders.
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material, including blogs and media material.
- Build material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
