NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Senior AWS Solutions Architect to design and help build cloud-native solutions supporting customer-facing digital applications. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position rather than a governance-only or purely advisory architecture role working in LATAM with our global client working EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AWS architectures for customer-facing and customer-support applications, balancing scalability, resilience, security, performance, and cost.
- Build proofs of concept, prototypes, and reference implementations.
- Contribute production-quality code for foundational components, integrations, and infrastructure when needed.
- Design and implement serverless, microservices, and event-driven solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
- Define API contracts and integration patterns across digital channels, backend platforms, and third-party systems.
- Establish synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, and queue-based integration approaches.
- Review code and technical designs, validate engineering decisions, and guide development teams through implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications, integrations, infrastructure, and production environments.
- Apply AWS security and IAM best practices, including least-privilege access, secrets management, encryption, identity management, and secure network design.
