Who We're Looking For
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help lead our accounting operations, strengthen our financial reporting and internal control environment, and support the unique requirements of operating as a government contractor in a publicly traded environment.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager who is equally comfortable managing the details of the monthly close and tackling complex accounting and compliance matters.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, meaningful experience within the government contracting industry, and experience working in or supporting a publicly traded company. This person will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, supporting SEC reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with government contracting regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants significant ownership and visibility within a fast-growing aerospace and defense organization.

-
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures required for SEC reporting, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.

Support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including the development, documentation, testing, and remediation of internal controls over financial reporting.
-
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support quarterly reviews, annual financial statement audits, and SOX testing.
-
Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable government contracting requirements, including FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements.
-
Monitor indirect cost pools and allocation bases and assist with the development and analysis of provisional and actual indirect rates.
