About Us

AI is moving fast. Most people are watching it happen. We’re building what comes next.
At LTX, we’re creating cutting-edge open-world models that help AI understand, simulate, and generate the world around us. We’re laying the groundwork for AI systems that can model how reality looks, moves, and behaves.

These world models will power the next generation of creative tools, physical AI, product simulation, and entirely new ways to build and interact with technology.

We’re not just training models. We’re helping define a new category.

Why Join Us

Some opportunities let you work on AI. This one lets you shape its future.

We’re a team of builders, researchers, and creatives who thrive on solving hard problems and pushing beyond what’s considered possible. Curiosity is encouraged. Experimentation is expected. Today we know that great ideas can come from anywhere.

Every breakthrough we make reaches millions of creators and developers worldwide. This can only happen in an environment where you are encouraged to think, push boundaries, create, and explore. Real impact happens when we, as a team, are empowered to experiment, evolve, and elevate together.

Role Overview

As a Lead Research Scientist within the LTX Partner R&D team, you bridge the gap between cutting-edge generative AI research and enterprise-scale production deployment. Working directly with technical leaders and researchers at top-tier global enterprises, you translate complex partner needs into novel generative video workflows and extend the capabilities of core LTX models. By collaborating with strategic partners across a wide range of industries and applications - spanning VFX, and animation in media & entertainment to real-time systems, physical AI, and robotics - you will turn state-of-the-art multimodal research into production-ready solutions that impact hundreds of millions of users

What you will be doing

• Partner Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with researchers and decision-makers at client organizations to understand their core challenges and translate business needs into targeted AI research projects.
• Applied Research & Prototyping: Conduct high-impact experiments, develop novel control mechanisms, and prototype state-of-the-art generative video, image, and audio concepts.
• Production Deployment: Partner cross-functionally with engineers, creatives, and product managers to bring enterprise-ready algorithms into production with a focus on efficiency and runtime.
• Open-Source & Academic Impact: Publish research insights and regularly contribute open-source code and models back to the academic and developer communities.
• Code Excellence: Write clean, high-performance, and scalable code while maintaining best practices for research pipelines.
• Technical Leadership: Lead multi-group technical initiatives, mentor researchers and engineers, and guide collaborative projects from concept to execution.

Your skills and experience

• Education: M.Sc. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Domain Expertise: Strong background in generative AI, with deep familiarity in video generation, image processing, and multimodal architectures.
• Cross-Functional Experience: 5+ years of experience delivering technical projects across multiple cross-functional groups and external partners.
• Proven track record of originating novel ideas, executing rapid prototyping.
• Adaptability & Impact: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong passion for driving business impact and solving real-world user needs.
