About the Role
NDot AI is building a mini-drama (short drama) business. We're hiring two Short Drama Creative Editor Interns in the SF Bay Area to cut and QC the trailers and paid ad creatives that bring viewers to our dramas.
- Type: Internship, 3–6 months, 24+ hours/week
- Location: SF Bay Area (Mountain View)
- Reports to: Design Lead. Creative requests and scheduling come from the Performance Marketing Lead.
What You'll Do
- Cut trailers and ad creatives. Edit short dramas into 15–60 second trailers and paid ads in 9:16, with a strong hook in the first 3 seconds. These run on Meta, TikTok and Google ads and in in-app recommendations. You'll mainly work on titles where the partner sent no creatives or the creatives didn't meet our standards.
- QC partner creatives. This is your top daily priority. Partners are required to send ad creatives for their titles. You'll check each one for specs, subtitles, hook strength and ad-policy compliance on each platform, and make light edits when something doesn't pass.
- Produce creative variants every week. Follow the performance marketing team's test plan to make variants in batches, testing different hooks, end-card CTAs and subtitle styles. Then improve them based on CTR and CPI results.
- Run our short-drama channels on TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram. Cut highlight clips and recap/commentary videos, and keep a steady posting schedule.
- Use AI tools to work faster. Use AI for auto-subtitling, dubbing, translation and smart editing, and build reusable creative templates.
