Customer Service and Sales Associate

As a Part Time Customer Service and Sales Associate with Hertz, you'll play a vital role in supporting Uber and Lyft drivers through our vehicle rental programs while delivering exceptional service and creating positive customer experiences every day.

This is more than a customer service role. You'll build relationships, solve problems, drive sales opportunities, and help customers get on the road quickly and confidently.

Wages: $17.00 per hour
Location: 225 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY 11021

What You'll Do

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience from reservation to vehicle return.
• Assist customers with rentals, exchanges, extensions, and vehicle returns.
• Answer questions related to billing, roadside assistance, rental requirements, and program policies.
• Introduce customers to Hertz Rideshare rental solutions and help them find the best fit for their needs.
• Identify sales opportunities and recommend products and services that add value.
• Inspect, fuel, clean, and prepare vehicles to ensure they are ready for rental.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks efficiently.
• Support daily branch operations and contribute to team success.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform vehicle-related tasks.
