Job's mission
Shape the next generation of semiconductor equipment by developing advanced simulation models that connect process physics with real-world equipment behavior. You will work across reactor-, feature-, and system-level modeling to accelerate development, optimize performance, and advance predictive digital twins for ALD/PEALD, epitaxy, and advanced packaging. Working with global experts, you will turn complex simulation insights into practical design recommendations that help push our technology forward.
What you will be working on
- Develop reactor-scale CFD and thermal models for flow, mixing, chemical transport, particles, and wafer temperature uniformity; integrate plasma-model outputs with specialists.
- Develop and integrate feature-scale models of species transport, surface reactions, and film growth with specialists; assess conformality, uniformity, and process sensitivity.
- Develop dynamic models of gas delivery, pressure control, vacuum systems, and thermal response, including epitaxial heating and temperature control, using Amesim, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent tools.
- Develop ROMs and surrogate models from simulations and measurements, working with ROM/ML specialists to enable rapid prediction, optimization, and control evaluation.
- Plan calibration and validation against experiments, conduct sensitivity studies and design optimization, and automate reusable simulation workflows.
- Independently lead modeling projects, collaborate with global process and engineering teams, mentor colleagues, and translate results into practical design recommendations.
What we are looking for
- Minimum Master/PhD degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science.
- Minimum years of relevant modeling or engineering experience, with demonstrated independent project delivery; advanced research experience
- Strong foundations in fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, numerical methods, and dynamic system modeling.
