About the role
To design, develop, deploy and maintain data assets and solutions on TWE’s cloud data platform (Helix) to support the evolving data, analytics and AI technology requirements of the business with a focus on the Greater China region.

Be a thought leader and development expert in cloud technology and data engineering, encompassing design, testing, validation, deployment and ongoing monitoring of production grade data platform and AI cloud infrastructure solutions.

Collaborate with Divisional Stakeholders, Business Analysts, BI developers and Solution Designers to engineer data and AI requirements into effective solutions.

Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to support ETL processes and data warehouse integrations to power business decision making.

Design and build data models to support reusable business solutions.

Design and build user-facing BI dashboards and lightweight web-based data tools that allow business users to self-serve insights

Maintain and support existing data assets, ensuring ongoing data quality, reliability and performance

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the China data and AI platform landscape to ensure solutions are built on appropriate, compliant and future-proof technology

Drive ongoing process improvement across the Data & Analytics team

Lead, mentor and support junior data engineers.
About you

Tertiary qualification in a relevant Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or area of study related to computer/data sciences and data mining or relevant experience
