The position requires excellent object oriented design skills with expertise in C++ programming. => Design, Implement, Code and test software for Nokia’s next generation of Optical Engine used for Long Haul, Metro and Data Center Interconnects

Qualifications

=> BS/MS in Computer Science/Electronics/Electical with experience in embedded software development
=> Minimum 8+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development
=> Excellent object oriented design and programming skills in C++.
=> A deep understanding of multi threaded software systems and operating system concepts is required.
=> Knowledge of at least one scripting language. Python is preferred.
=> Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills are critical to this position

=> Experience with version control (Ex: GIT) and bug tracking systems (Ex: JIRA)
=> Well versed in object orient design philosophy and design patterns
