Our experts are leaders in their fields, developing and delivering innovative solutions in diverse markets including Buildings, Transport, Planning & Urban Design, Water, Environment & Health, Energy, and Management Consulting. We invite you to contribute to a more sustainable future working in an open, collaborative, and empowering company. Combining local experience with global knowledge, we together shape the societies of tomorrow.
Welcome to our Buildings division
As one of the top 10 building designers in the world, Ramboll provides sustainable design engineering solutions in residential, commercial, office, hospital, stadium, industrial and Infrastructure projects. 4,000 experts across the world specialise in creating more innovative, sustainable and liveable buildings. We place particular emphasis on our liveable buildings concept where we balance the cultural, social and physical values of buildings, to improve the quality of life for building users.
We invite you to demonstrate best practice in sustainable design, early-stage passive analysis, building performance modelling, life cycle assessment and decarbonisation as we look for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Sustainability Consultant for the Ramboll Engineering Centre located in Gurugram. The role will support concept design, competition projects and multidisciplinary design teams by translating sustainability ambitions into clear, evidence-based strategies and performance-led design recommendations.
You will join our Sustainability Team
Our Sustainability teams have an in-depth focus on technical delivery and an excellent understanding of client care, focused on Low and Net Zero Carbon building design. You will be an essential part of a close-knit team working on a wide variety of projects across the UK and internationally. We have a supporting and collaborative culture and enjoy what we do! We are looking for like-minded and personable colleagues to strengthen the capabilities of our global team and lead our REC team. Career progression is guaranteed for talented candidates.
You will be expected to manage your own project work and support multidisciplinary teams during early design stages, including feasibility studies, competitions and concept design. You should have a strong interest in the overall sustainability scope, including passive design, certification, embodied carbon and operational energy, supported by practical energy simulation experience to assist project teams. Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper for parametric design support, working knowledge of IES VE for building performance analysis, and the ability to develop clear outputs that inform design decisions will be important for this role.
