UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer – Data Services is a senior product design contributor within the Product organization, reporting to the Head of Section, Data Services. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design of enterprise applications that serve the DNV global user base, working alongside engineering and product leads to deliver workflow capabilities that support the Transformational Trust Initiative and broader digital platform enablement across Energy Systems.

This role is accountable for design outcomes, including the usability, clarity, and consistency of data-dense advisory workflows used by internal analysts and external clients across the energy value chain.

This role sits within Digital & Transformation and operates as a core enablement function, establishing the design foundation that advisory regions, Renewable Certification, and Digital & Data Solutions businesses build upon.

The Senior UX Designer will carefully create, curate, and manage the code-first design system, define the interaction patterns for tables, documents, hierarchies, and review workflows, and produce working prototypes that engineering partners can extend directly. This is a deeply craft-focused role for a Figma expert who designs and prototypes with AI as a natural part of the workflow, with delivery occurring in close partnership with product and engineering leads.

This position collaborates directly with product leads, engineering leads, Global Service Area Leads, and domain experts to ensure our applications reflect both advisory methodology and real user needs. As the platform matures, the role will also help define design standards and practices for the Data Services function.

**This position can be located in our Montreal, QC, Toronto, ON, and Calgary, AB; office, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Le ou la designer UX senior·e – Services de données est un contributeur ou une contributrice senior en conception de produits au sein de l’organisation Produits, relevant de la direction de la section Services de données. Cette personne est responsable de la conception de bout en bout des applications d’entreprise destinées à la base mondiale d’utilisateurs de DNV. Elle travaille en collaboration avec les responsables de l’ingénierie et des produits afin de fournir des fonctionnalités de flux de travail qui soutiennent la Transformational Trust Initiative ainsi que l’activation plus large de la plateforme numérique dans l’ensemble d’Energy Systems.

Cette personne est responsable des résultats de conception, notamment de l’utilisabilité, de la clarté et de la cohérence des flux de travail consultatifs riches en données utilisés par les analystes internes et les clients externes dans l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur énergétique.
