Job Description
Experienced Veterinary Nurse (Full-Time) | Greencross Vets Nerang | Gold Coast, QLD
Looking for a clinic where you'll be supported, appreciated, and genuinely enjoy coming to work?
We're on the lookout for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join us at Greencross Nerang. We're looking for someone who's confident, kind, and keen to be part of a team that genuinely supports one another.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to join a busy, well-established clinic where your skills will be valued, your growth supported, and your contributions recognised from day one.
A Bit About Us
We're a well-established clinic on the Gold Coast with a loyal client base and a team that's proud of the care we provide.
The vibe here is:
- Friendly and down-to-earth
- Team-first (no egos)
- Busy but well supported
We've also recently undergone a clinic upgrade, with additional consult rooms, improved treatment areas, and upgraded facilities, making it an exciting time to join our team.
Why Nerang?
Nerang makes life easy.
You'll enjoy:
- Quick access to the M1 and public transport
- Rivers, parks, and the Gold Coast hinterland nearby
- Being only 15-20 minutes from the beach
- Easy access to all areas of the Gold Coast
It's a great central location if you enjoy having the best of both nature and coastal living on your doorstep.
What You'll Be Doing
Your day might include:
- Assisting in consults and surgery
- Monitoring anaesthesia and recovering patients
- Dental procedures and radiography
- Supporting patient care and administering medications
- Communicating with clients and helping them feel supported
- Assisting with hospital nursing and patient monitoring
- Helping keep the day flowing smoothly and the clinic organised
No two days are the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to tick every box, but ideally you'll be:
- Certificate IV qualified with 2+ years of nursing experience
- Confident and competent across all aspects of veterinary nursing
- Calm under pressure and well organised
- Great with both pets and people
- A team player who supports colleagues and contributes positively to clinic culture
Most importantly, you genuinely enjoy what you do and want to be part of a supportive team environment.
