Manufacturing Associate

Company Description

Savant Systems, Inc. is a global leader in smart home and energy, and traditional lighting solutions, for consumers, businesses, utility companies and more.  As the parent of GE Lighting, a Savant company, Savant offers the most diverse portfolio of DIY and professionally installed products in the industry.  Our innovative solutions unite all the vital pillars of any smart home – climate, lighting, entertainment, security, and energy – all controlled by a single intuitive award-winning app experience.

In December 2023, Savant Systems, Inc., a global industry leader in smart home and smart power, acquired J Geiger Shading, a recognized window treatment market leader that designs and delivers architecturally conscious shading.

Over the last six years the teams at Savant and J Geiger have formed a close partnership, bringing a new category of exposed rollershades to market through the custom integration channel as well as launching new category defining products, such as quick-install Inception shades.  J Geiger’s design approach and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with Savant's ability to deliver the best possible smart home experience, which includes the Savant app’s award-winning Daylight Mode, designed to seamlessly blend natural and artificial lighting.  In addition to rounding out its lighting portfolio, J Geiger shades bolster Savant’s portfolio of energy and climate solutions that can help existing and future homes become more energy efficient.  The ability to control heat with proper shading plays a significant part in reducing energy use, particularly in warmer geographies around the globe.

J GEIGER – ARCHITECTURALLY CONSCIOUS SHADING

A longstanding addition to ultra-high-end architectural residences, J Geiger has cemented its status as a leader in luxury home shading for over a decade.  Our shading systems deliver modern, motorized functionality in a sleek, minimalist package.  Versatile hardware options are thoughtfully designed, concealing unsightly wires and screws for a streamlined look that blends seamlessly with architecture.  System technology is equally adaptable, integrating universally with virtually any method of automation or control.

We got our start in 2011, when media system designer James Geiger began creating shading systems in his Charleston, SC home.  In his quest to marry elegance with functionality, James designed a revolutionary shading system—a system with no visible wires or screws.  James launched his first ad campaign to promote the radically minimalist R Series Shading System in 2012.  Within a few short years, J Geiger shades were in some of the nation’s most exclusive homes and businesses.  Our patented hardware speaks for itself, but J Geiger craftsmanship doesn’t end there.  We are a full-service provider, equipped to thoughtfully design, custom manufacture, and accurately install your shading system to ensure your expectations are met in exacting detail.

Contemporary design, smart functionality, and quick installation… the embodiment of elegant simplicity.
