Job Description
The Harvard Law School Program on Biblical Law and Christian Legal Studies (“Program”) offers students the opportunity to integrate law, leadership, and life through the study, debate, and application of the teaching of the Bible. We help students connect learning with conviction, inquiry with relationships, ideas with character, research with hope, gifts with purpose, and values with action. We seek to inspire confidence in biblical law as a source of truth powerful enough to meet global challenges, yet personal enough to inspire individual purpose.
The Program seeks an experienced, highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and technically savvy individual to perform a wide range of complex and confidential tasks to plan and execute Program initiatives and events. Excellent management and communication skills are required for responsibilities that include planning of Program events, collaboration with Program affiliates and donors, financial administration and budgeting, development of marketing materials, maintenance of Program websites, and preparation of program reports. The candidate must be an initiative taker, able to lead assigned initiatives and events independently with minimal supervision, while coordinating multiple tasks with grace, finesse, humility, and attention to detail. This Program is growing quickly; a qualified candidate will be able to step into new opportunities as they present themselves. We are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for the Program’s mission.
The position reports to the Program’s Executive Director and supports the work of the Executive Director as well as other members of the Program team.
As a Finance and Administrative Manager you will:
- Manage program operations, financial administration, and budget preparation and tracking/forecasting; maintain records, reconcile and process expenses; provide policy interpretation; develop and implement administrative systems to enhance the Program’s operational effectiveness and efficiency
