About DISA Uranium
DISA Uranium™ Corporation (DISA Uranium) is redefining American uranium recovery and production. Headquartered in Casper, Wyoming, the Company recovers uranium and vanadium from abandoned uranium mine (AUM) waste, remediates legacy sites left across the western United States, and applies its patented high-pressure slurry ablation technology (HPSA™) to make conventional uranium production cleaner, more efficient, and more economic.
We hold the only U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license to treat and recover AUM waste across multiple sites — and with a growing conventional resource base behind it, the Company is building the domestic capacity to turn American waste and American ore into American fuel.
Our mission is simple: restore the past while powering the future and rebuild a secure domestic uranium supply chain.
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager builds and runs DISA Uranium's internal recruiting function as the company grows. Hiring currently relies on an outside recruiting firm; this role brings that work in-house.
You will hire across corporate, technical, field operations and remediation roles. That includes engineers, geologists, radiation safety and environmental professionals, plant operators and skilled trades. You will own the full process: workforce planning, sourcing, selection, offers and the hand-off to onboarding.
This is a hands-on role. You will run your own requisitions while setting up the systems, process and employer brand that let talent acquisition scale.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Build the function
-
Stand up DISA Uranium's in-house recruiting model and transition open searches from the outside firm.
-
Design a consistent hiring process: intake meetings, structured interviews, scorecards, approvals and offer steps.
-
Own the applicant tracking system: configuration, workflows, templates and data quality.
-
Write and maintain recruiting policies, job description standards and interview guides.
Plan and partner
-
Work with the Director of HR and department leaders to build an annual hiring plan tied to company goals and budget.
-
Run intake meetings with hiring managers to define each role, its must-haves and its interview plan.
-
Coach hiring managers and interview panels on structured, fair and legally compliant interviewing.
Recruit
-
Manage a full-cycle requisition load across corporate, technical and field roles.
-
Source passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles such as radiation safety, metallurgy, process engineering and licensing.
-
Build pipelines for recurring field and plant roles in Wyoming and other operating areas.
-
Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, check references and manage candidate communication.
-
Prepare offers, negotiate within approved ranges and close candidates.
Employer brand and outreach
-
Write job postings in the DISA Uranium voice and keep them consistent with the brand guide.
-
Build relationships with universities, trade schools, workforce agencies and veteran hiring programs.
-
Represent DISA Uranium at career fairs and community events.
Compliance and reporting
-
Keep hiring compliant with EEO, OFCCP (if applicable), FCRA and state requirements.
-
Coordinate pre-employment screening, including background checks, drug testing and any site or security clearance steps.
-
Report hiring metrics to the Director of HR: time to fill, cost per hire, source of hire, offer acceptance and pipeline health.
-
Manage recruiting vendors and job board spend within budget.
Onboarding hand-off
- Partner with HR operations so new hires have paperwork, equipment and safety training ready on day one.
Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including at least 2 years in-house.
-

-

-
Hands-on ATS administration experience (Workable or similar).
-

-
