Company Description
We’re Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented person to join our growing team in Ebene, Mauritius. Reporting to the Manager of Interchange and Automation Unit, you will be the analytical backbone of our commercial performance, executing the data workflows that ensure our global sales teams are incentivized correctly and our revenue insights are flawless.
At Checkout.com, "high performance is a science, not an accident." In this role, you will be fully involved in Interchange definition, set up and investigation. You should be a problem-solver who loves digging into the numbers to find the truth and ensure that we are operating in the most accurate way possible.
What you will be doing
-
Support the development and maintenance of interchange fee models by translating scheme rules and business requirements into clear mapping and configuration inputs.
-
Execute reconciliations and analytical checks to validate data accuracy, identify variances, and support root-cause investigations.
-
Investigate operational issues across fee calculations, invoices, transaction data, and reporting, escalating material or complex issues with a clear analysis of the problem and recommended next steps.
-
Contribute to the implementation of scheme mandates and fee changes by coordinating inputs, tracking actions, and supporting timely and accurate deployment.
-
Maintain and improve recurring data workflows, controls, and documentation, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve process reliability.
