Expression of Interest

• Mob Way Applicants must identify as Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander

If there wasn’t a Mob Way opportunity that matched your experience at this time, but you’d still like to explore senior career opportunities at Westpac, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest and our Indigenous Careers Team will be in touch.

What is Mob Way?

Mob Way is Westpac’s culturally grounded pathway unlocking senior opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders.

Through Mob Way, you will be supported to grow your career while staying connected to culture. This includes strong executive connection, opportunities to build your networks, and dedicated time for in‑community experiences and elder‑led cultural immersion.

Why join us?

As part of Mob Way, you will receive tailored career support through executive coaching, culturally safe leadership development, and opportunities to strengthen your connection to community and culture.

At Westpac, we’re passionate about becoming our customers’ #1 banking partner for life and we know that starts with creating the best workplace in the country. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, that means more than just a job.

• Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee-only mortgage rates!
• We offer flexible work arrangements to support your work/life balance, along with a variety of leave options including Culture (such as dedicated Sorry Business Leave), Lifestyle, and Wellbeing Leave.
• Tailored career support through our Indigenous Careers Team, and growth opportunities like the Echo mentoring program and Jawun secondments.
• Lots of opportunities to ‘give back’ to the Community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives including our Brothers & Sisters Employee Advocacy Group.

At Westpac we aim to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians succeed by supporting Indigenous employees to build meaningful careers. Westpac has been granted an S126 Exemption to sections eight (8) and fifty-one (51) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW); this allows us to advertise and recruit this role exclusively to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.

This forms part of Westpac’s strategy to foster a multicultural, vibrant and diverse workforce.
