GCCS-M Technician

Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior GCCS-M Technician. In this role, you will operate and maintain GCCS-M hardware and software and perform cybersecurity functions to support a research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) environment. You will install, configure, test, and diagnose hardware and software. This is a dynamic environment in which configurations frequently change to support the RDT&E mission. Your goal will be to ensure GCCS-M is fully functional, secure, and configured to approved specifications for test and training events. Work is performed at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island, VA. SCSC is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and provides AEGIS and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) combat systems for engineering, testing, training, and certification.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
This position requires a high school or GED diploma and ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Must be willing and able to perform in a variety of 40-hour work-week configurations, including:
1. Monday-Friday (5 x 8): 1st Shift
2. Monday-Friday (5 x 8): 2nd Shift
3. Variable 4 x 10 shifts that may include weekends (4 days on/3 days off) and may be 1st or 2nd shift
4. Sliding (5 x 8) work weeks (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday) and may be 1st or 2nd shift
Additionally, these work week configurations may rotate to meet mission requirements.

Must be willing to comply with DoD 8140 training requirements.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• A related U.S. Navy NEC.
• Experience with U.S. Navy AEGIS and/or SSDS systems.
• Windows, Linux, and/or Cisco certifications.
• DoD 8140 foundational training.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
