About the role: What’s in the Box
You will join our European Strategic Sourcing Team, which buys the ingredients and products behind millions of HelloFresh meals across multiple markets. Our ambitious team is growing and we have several junior roles open within the Procurement team, each with its own focus.
You don’t need to pick a specific position upfront. During the process, we’ll get to know your strengths and interests and discuss together where you’d fit best. Whichever role you take, you’ll learn how international procurement works from start to finish and help make sure our customers get high-quality products at the right cost, every week.
Please note: For junior positions, we are unable to offer visa or work permit sponsorship, either now or in the future. To be considered, you must already have the legal right to work in your preferred location.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Support procurement strategies and plans across our European markets, working closely with experienced colleagues in the team.
- Analyse supplier offers, cost data and market prices to build cost models and spot savings opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and supply risks, using data and Generative AI tools to support pricing forecasts and decisions.
- Identify and assess suppliers, prepare negotiations and take ownership of selected suppliers as you gain experience.
- Collaborate with product, culinary, food safety and quality, and operations teams to bring new products to our customers on time.
- Contribute to cross-functional procurement projects and keep local and global stakeholders up to date on progress.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, for example in business, supply chain, engineering, or food science.
- Up to 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or a related field. Exposure to the food industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues across teams, countries and functions.
- A proactive, organised mindset. You take initiative and enjoy learning quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent English. Another European language is a plus, as is a willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
